We are thrilled to welcome you to the digital home of one of Basel’s most vibrant and beloved cultural events—the IV Fiesta Española, returning to Erlenmatt on Saturday, September 6, 2025!
What began as a local charity initiative in 2022 has grown into a joyful annual celebration of Spanish culture, community, and sustainability—all right in the heart of Basel. Hosted by the Ambassadors of Erlenmatt and supported by over 15 enthusiastic Spanish volunteers, the Fiesta Española transforms our neighborhood into a colorful Spanish plaza filled with music, gastronomy, tradition, and togetherness.
This year is especially meaningful as Erlenmatt celebrates its 10th anniversary. Our neighborhood—a model of green urban living and cultural integration—will once again become the backdrop for a day of open-air festivities, laughter, and connection. Whether you’re joining us for the giant paella, live flamenco performances, wine tastings, or the family-friendly karaoke and minidisco, there’s something for everyone.
We are not just throwing a party—we are building a bridge between cultures, fostering community ties, and creating moments that make Basel feel like home for everyone.
