about the “Fiesta”
the “Fiesta Española in Basel” is a free, one-day cultural celebration ideated by neighbors, families, and volunteers to support the Quartiertreffpunkt Gleis 58 with a shared passion for Spanish culture and community.
founded in 2022 by Olivier Soro and Silvia Sastre, the “Fiesta” has grown thanks to the dedication of a wider volunteer team helping bring the event to life every year.
